Edinburgh’s infamous underground was once home to the dregs and ne’er do wells of Edinburgh society.

Initially built for storage, the Vaults of the South Bridge are the most renowned of Edinburgh’s underground street system. Inhabited by beggars, thieves, streetwalkers and worse it became a hotbed of criminal activity.

Join one of our guides as they travel into the depths of the city, regaling you with tales of those who once stalked the subterranean chambers beneath the Old Town.
