The Ghost and Torture Tour takes you on a trip above and below ground. Our guide will lead you through Edinburgh’s wynds and closes where he/she will tell you about the city’s dark past. You will learn about the witch trials, the bodysnatchers and the plague.

Before you enter our underground you will first be led into our torture museum where we display over 30 different torture instruments.

During the last part of the tour you will be taken into our vaults. You will see a modern witchcraft temple still in use by a coven of witches today. Room by room you hear stories about those who used to live down there and those who never left and you will understand why some call the vaults the most haunted place in Edinburgh
